Default Digicel and LIME laptop 3g/4g modem combos

    Hi guys!

I need a laptop but I can't afford to buy one for $50,000+. Plus I need something that's not too heavy so that I can travel comfortably with it since I don't drive.

Digicel is offering the Acer e-machine? What's your opinion of the laptop they are offering and the $39,000 plus GCT for it?

LIME is offering the Lenovo G560. I don't know much about Lenovo brand...can anyone shed some light on this. They offer this with a 2 year contract with downpayment of 8,500 and monthly 2,700 plus GCT.

I need something I can type on easily and read documents on easily as well. Something a student would find useful.

but do you think the Lenovo is worth the contract price of $2,700 a month? I was told by two IT guys that I should get a laptop with dual core processor because the single core is outdated and won't keep up with the new apps of the future plus HD video and things like that. I want to have a laptop for at least 6-7 years.
