    Default ASUS' GTX580 Breaks Records

ASUS introduced NVIDIA’s new flagship GTX580 GPU, complete with ASUS' own Voltage Tweak technology which makes it easy for users to overvolt the graphics card. The ASUS GTX580 supports NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround in full 1080p HD as well as NVIDIA SLI technology. The ASUS GTX580 is overclocked from the factory at 782MHz with 512 CUDA cores, 1536MB of GDDR5 video memory running at over 4GHz and a 384-bit memory interface. For high definition video and audio output, the GTX580 offers HDMI 1.4a. With the Voltage Tweaked GTX580, ASUS has achieved a new world record in Futuremark’s 3DMark Vantage with a score of 71,167.

    3DMark Vantage World Records

ASUS is proud to announce a new world record in Futuremark’s 3DMark Vantage. Featuring ASUS’ innovative hardware designs and the skill of top overclocker NickShih, the combination of the ROG Rampage III Extreme motherboard, Intel’s Flagship 980X processor and Voltage Tweaked GTX580 in SLI broke the 70K barrier with a score of 71,167**. This world record continues to show why ASUS is the 1 choice for overclockers and gamers those looking for the absolute best in performance.

lol so now it 1up for the Green Team, problem is amd seem to always have their ticket no doubt AMD is busy making sure that at launch the 69xx is faster, cooler, quieter or of a much better value for money than the gtx580.
