    Sounds great! But I just opened an account here . Maybe next time FCB...

    any update on this?

    anybody used it online yet..im really considering taking one out..reading the FAQ's has basically sold me

    especially want to know if you can use it on newegg because i know they require billing and shipping address to be the same..

    i went there to inquire and get some literature on it and there was a guy at the front desk who just got his and came to activate it..and i borrowed it from him and looked at it..

    Other banks will be coming on-stream with this maybe next year.

    I think the info was that FCIB going need JMD$5,000 or USD$100 to open an account in local or US, then you apply for the card which entails two reference letters and some other info, then you get in and use it. Rep told me that it works with anything and anywhere that takes Visa so that's good. Most places take both Visa and MasterCard so that's fine - and she said people use it with PayPal which is good for I.

    I posted on this debit card weeks ago...i've used mine already at walmart, amazon, and ebay via paypal..all went thru without problems

    If u opening a regular chequing account with FCI a minimum of $2000 is necessary, but if it's a salaries account such as 1 the your employer would deposit your salaries to, then no money is necessary to open the account, just go with the required papers
