I agree. I'm sure they are aware of this issue and it's apparent that nothing is being done as customers are just rolling over while they rob the rug from under our feet. I guess this only happens in Jamaica

So looking at the problem we noticed that the value of deducted funds from the user account was never constant provided the reports are true of moneys lost.

I may have found a solution which has worked on both my Blackberry Storm 2 and My 8900 which are both on the Digicel Network.

I can only hope it may help all those who have been experiencing this problem.

    Solution:

    1. GO TO OPTIONS- ADVANCED- BROWSER
    The Default Profile Must be-INTERNET

    2. BROWSER PUSH
Disable the Option. ENABLE WAP PUSH

    3. Uncheck the option ALLOW WAP PUSH APPS

    Then Save and Exit

    4. Go to SERVICE BOOKS
Delete all Books STARTING with WAP (They must Start with the word Wap)

    5. Go back to your HOME PAGE and Start your Web Browser
Go into your Web Browser Options and Change your Webpage Home to anything but that Digical Wap garbage.

    SAVE THE SETTINGS AND EXIT

That's It you're Done. I really hope this helped.

I have read about a few steps to release this PIN yourself, just tried it and I can confirm it works here in the States.

Used ATT BB - tried to register with tmobile BIS - BIS states PIN already registered.

You need an active SIM with BIS already on it. (borrow sim from friend on tmobile)

    1. Place the active bis sim in phone, when powered up go to setup email you should be prompted a new device has been detected do you want to change.
    Choose yes to change device.
    2. Place the active bis sim back in the old phone it came from and do the same steps to change device back.

Once those two steps have been completed the Original ATT BB is now free to be registered on BIS with any carrier.

This worked with ATT and Tmobile, I assume it should work with DIGI, CLARO Etc.
