It wasn't me!...........okay it was but you have no right to assume!!
I do agree that for extended training, wiki is useless. However, for single topics, such as individual protocols , I have found the TCP-IP section to EXTREMELY well written. This is after I had torrented several networking texts and had a copy of Tanenbaum Computer Networks. For intense study however, refer to the original RFCs.I would not recommend Wiki for any extensive training

vylle you doing it at heart now?....hold up i thought you were ccna certified. who teaching you marsha or mr. anderson?
Vylle listen to me....dont just do the course. Take the external exam. Only 10% of students who come through heart move on to be certified.
IF YOU ARE CERTIFIED...there are companies that will take you. The heart certificate means nothing. You HAVE to pass the ccna exam. thats why. Try not fail any semester exams (to get the discount of 65% you have to pass the first time around) I didnt figure this out untill i compared the responses i was getting versus without cisco or other stuff.
Vylle i started getting responses without sending out applications. (test centre where you take exam like vector are constantly checked to see if they are aware of CCNA CCNP certified individuals)

Nah im doing it right now - did a simulation of the final exam and it seems centered alot around routing troubleshooting scenarios and subnetting. I got a 63.4% right off the bat.. not bad for a first seeing as how my networking is a bit rusty. try but i need better
the material looks intensive but can be covered quite easily with reading and simulating.
what sucks is that i cant use calculators to determine Subnet/IP configurations and all that nonsence like i could at utech but i suppose that is to train u 2 be more self reliant
for those who didnt know, heats program is a full year (4 semesters) a bit long if u ask me. I Wish it could have been halved but i do what i have to.. afta dis i might do CCNP and prob stop there.. more knowledge is great an ting but CCIE EXPENSIVE!! and at some point work experience does place as a excellent replacement to certification
boss i topped my class when i was there....average for finals was high 90's....and i am saying to you...in the working world...in the jamaican context...in this reality.....it has little or no worth...WITHOUT..the certification to back it up....the days of anyone with a little training being readily hired gone....you have to get the ...CCNA Certification..meaning do the external exam. Ask any of the lecturers there..they will tell you the truth....if u ask.
