maybe you are using the wrong browser to access internet. Happened to me with Claro, after installing service books I had 2 browsers, one wap and one bb. It was only after calling them I figured out why my credit was slowly being sucked out.

Did you call the regular help desk or the BB support line.
What model BB did you have this issue with. and Would you mind telling me what your network settings are ?
Did you do he battery pull upon receiving the BB service?

mine started doing this out of the blue, to the point where if i have no credit i start getting random text messages from +451 telling me insufficient funds or unauthorized service for data session.

only apps i have running in the background besides the native blackberry apps are facebook and twitter..it doesnt even happen when im browsing..ill just get the text messages out of the blue, or check my balance and notice a good chunk of credit missing

That happened to me a few times. It's a simple fix. When you have the service activated you should delete the digicel or any respective network that you're using APN. That should fix it. The only time you'll lose credit is when you use an app that does not connect via BIS or when you try to send an email.
