Offline Multiplayer Games for PS3 & Xbox360

I want to buy some video games with offline multiplayer mode for PS3 and Xbox 360, but can't seem to find a proper list online. So I'm seeking your help. If they have an online multiplayer mode, that will be good but not a must. I'm looking for the more popular titles tho....Thanx
