Currently, a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold sells for $50 in the US. With the November increase, that same term will cost gamers $60, although Microsoft is offering annual subscriptions for $40 until the new pricing takes effect. The month-by-month plan price is also rising from $8 to $10, with three-month plans going up from $20 to $25.

So now M$ is going to release it's ingenious, revolutionary controller around the same time as the XBL price drop. All it really does is have a revolvong d-pad so I guess that gives them the right to call it revolution-ary.... plus they removing the color from the buttons to cause confusion amongst the casual gamers while they learn to play their games.

So you're getting all this plus the recharge kit for a new low price of $65 USD! What a deal eh?

From what I understand, they're doing this to appeal to fighting game fans who've been complaining about the d-pad for years. The thing is though a fight pad can be bought for far less than that.
