Did he say same processor as the 9700? And no Open GL support? I refuse to believe that!

I hear the 9700 is getting OS6. I dont know how its gonna manage when OS6 itself uses 230MB ram idle and the 9700 comes with 256MB

in the vid the device looks abit slow more so across the home screens ... so i hope that is addressed in the final .. i not really all that excited about OS 6.0 .. the OS offers nothing that we have not seen or is used to ... it just new the blackberry ..

Non the less .. the BB is finally getting there

I'm waiting to see the official cpu specs posted. I was told be a RIM employee that its a 1.2 GHZ cpu... Right now I don't know what to believe. I will just have to see for myself. No OpenGL does not affect me, as I dont play 3D Games on my BB. I play Chess, Pacman and TexasHold Em

They saving Open GL for the Storm 3 besides BB's are more on the Business side of the fence and not so much the gaming side..

All apps that work on OS5 will work on OS6...edit: looking for that link....
I read a few articles on this today but my concern is how well will the Bold 2 and Pearl 3G hold up with only 256mb of ram considering that the Torch and all the other new devices will have 512mb of ram when they hit the streets

I figured so do this mean that the OS versions for the Bold 2 and Pearl 3G are scaled down versions of OS 6 and if those does this mean we will not see specific features on our Bold 2 and Pearl 3G devices. What do you think?
