Default Definition of a Techjamaica Member.

What defines a true techjamaica member (techjamite)? We need to have this thread be made into a 'sticky' and have newbies check this post whenever they join the forum so as to kow what is expected of them. I know its bad that we have to be babysitting but we need to have certain rules and protocols in place so that no one can say "it was not said" or "there is nothing written"

    Comments please.

Hey devnull, I thought we were Techjamaicans? ;D

Anyway, in my opinion a Techjamaican is one who is seeking to learn, enhance and share their knowledge of technology with other like-minded individuals, particularly as it relates to technology in the Jamaican environment.

Oh btw - readers, please don't take the "Jamaican" part of Techjamaican literally. We more than welcome all nationalities, after all - out of MANY, ONE people ;D

.... if you couldn't/can't keep up with the "You know you're a computer freak..." thread... u're probably NOT a techjamaican

.... if you wonder why the "Matrix:Reloaded..." thread has such a high viewing and reply rate .... u're probably NOT a techjamaican

.... if you think that Windows is the best thing out there..... u're probably NOT a techjamaican

.... if you don't know the meaning of the words o-p-e-n s-o-u-r-c-e .... u're probably NOT a techjamaican

    and finally... the acid test:

... if your reaction to the Architect's speech was " HUH??? " (out loud) .... u're probably NOT a techjamaican
