Im sure some of you must have gotten that broadcast msg about adding new icons to your BB. First I hear its safe, then i heard its actually a virus that shuts down your phone after 3 days.

I never installed it bcz i dont need so many icons, but whats the real story on it? anybody here actually tried to add them?

I got it but never did install. It was stating that "Symbol will automatic update in your messenger when you broadcast this message" to me that was kinda suspect so I left it alone.

Not true it won't activate a thing. The name of the app is Fancy Characters which u have to pay for, cost is US$1.49, the copy and paste thing in the broadcast wont work
