    The phone's hardware is worth $188 but im sure if any of us created a sophisticated software we would want ppl to pay for it just like the OS on the iDevices.

    This topic is incorrect, the hardware is worth what apple charges for it, the cost to BUILD the iPhone is $188

    For all of you who think that iPhones are overpriced, the solution is simple:

    Go out and buy the $188 worth of parts, and build it yourself.
