You need to have BB service activated to correct this, its caused by the CDMA band in the phone.

did some research and found out that the 9530 is pretty crappy wen it comes to digi,
i got my OS upgraded to 5.0.0.328
i turned off data services so now im able to process *...# commands.
im now tryin to activate BIS however i encounter the message:
sorry your request cannot be processed at this time.

Exact OS i'm running. Digi BIS works fine for 95% of the time, Only when I do a battery pull takes a little while to become stable again.

What I do is turn off network, turn off data services for 5 mins. Restore network, then 5mins after restore data services in that order, and it always works. BIS runs smooth until I do another pull, just re-do the process.
