    its not about gamestop. Its the consumer that loses. If these guys care about gamestop so much they should stop assisting them with preorder BS and the like. These guys are going to fk everything up, and its not like EA has stellar online service.

    what gamespot will probably do is buy the online passes in bulk then sell them along with used games and make even more profit

    I don't see EA giving Gamestop much pre-order incentives, is mainly Ubi and Sony.

    not sure how they can do that if the online pass would be a digital transaction directly from EA, at least that's what I would expect.

    I really don't get u ppl. So now its only good to buy games new? renting and buying used is all of a sudden bad? Cheap bastards? wtf? Might as well just pirate everything cause is only the ppl who can buy new worth anything apparently...

    its not bad, its just that places like gamestop are making roughly 700% profit on each used game sale, and you the consumer are only getting a 10% savings on a used game. If you buy a used game directly from someone you likely wont be paying as much as gamestop is asking for anyway so the extra $10 shouldnt be hard to find if necessary.
