    Default C++ tutorials/ebooks topic

    Mods please sticky this thread. This topic will include tutorials and ebooks for those looking to learn c++ programming.

    Cprogramming.com(Website)

    http://www.cprogramming.com/tutorial/lesson1.html

    The best tutorial I have come across since my search started almost a year ago. The features of c++ and how it operates are plainly spelled out, nothing gets simpler than this.

    Thinking in C++, 2nd ed. Volume 1 & 2 by Bruce Eckel(HTML ebook)

    http://www.smart2help.com/e-books/

    A bit more complicated ebook but offers good teaching nontheless. That link provides both volumes online.

    C++ GUI Programming with Qt 4 1st Ed(chm ebook)

    http://www.qtrac.eu/C++-GUI-Programm...t-4-1st-ed.zip

    C++ GUI Programming with Qt4 2nd ed(chm ebook)

    http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4132...(_2nd_edition_)

    Since we are talking about c++ here I decided to include qt as well since it's based on c++.
    Feel free to post additional books.

    DevC++ is my ide/compiler of choice:

    Right now everything is just jumbled and not worth sticking in its current condition. Edit your post and insert some line breaks and highlight the book\resource name. This will make your post easier to follow.

    ... just my opinion.

    .
    Yung programming is just one of those things my yute i struggled with it during my time at university. its either you get it or you don't. when my professors was on to advance classes/data structures/pointers etc i was still stucked on basic while loops and if statements. i would dedicate about 6 hours a day to understand some simple programs with no success. I just ended up asking my friends do the programming for me. i think i might revisit programming but i would like to learn at my own pace.
