I contacted EA's customer service RE. the request issue and they said:

This is a known issue on which our engineers are working
the server is overload at this moment so you are getitng this temporary issue.

Yeh. I turn off the bloom most of the time. I asked one of the devs and he said the lighting is a huge part of the game so there will be no options added to edit it in the graphics menu.
My eyes are sensitive so not my thing.

I love the light, it just makes my gaming experience better. Same for Dirt2 the lights over the hills are awesome.

best part bad company 2 other than fight with fellow snipers is knifing the engineer when he try to repair the tank , or knifing one whole squad as the spawn off each other hard to choose lmao

I've only got 3 out of the 4 man squad as the spawn!
I tried to get in a quickie before leave for work but all i was getting is "Server Full". Every single mode i choose was the same thing
