Why do you even need that much fps? The human eyes can't really see that much fps anyways.

I juss leave vsync on and it never at all move from 60 fps.

My GPU and motherboard never really get along and the GPU may not be seated well enough for full performance.

I am on windows 8 and I changed to it because games were doing 1fps or so better in windows 8 than windows 7, from the benches I saw.
mad ting, sounds like LoL graphics tun up, btw semitop what r ur system specs, i have honestly never seen above 60 fps in LoL, even when i was running a hex core, 8 GB ram and a HD4850, i always thought maybe sumn was wrong with my machine....

You have to disable wait for vsync and change framerate cap to Benchmark in video options. Getting over 200 fps with these options:

    Highest frames settings:

Look at the ingame fps reading at the top right and the one for my GPU at the top left as fraps counter drops when taking screenshots:

I don't see any difference than the one I prefer (vsync enabled and framerate cap to stable) so I leaving it at that.

Yeah, and less likely to crash when you alt+tab. It's pretty much window mode without the borders showing, but it lags when it's not the active window.

Definately recommend it for multi-monitor setups.

finding it not so stable in that mode actually. Crashed, mouse not moving all the way on the screen etc

Yeah it used to give me issues like that too till I updated my graphics card drivers. Not saying it's a driver issue for you, although it could be, but if it working ok in fullscreen then stick to that.
