Yes, that's correct Mitchie. About $60 US for the 256k, which I have.

Not bad at all, back when I had Gotel (Pre Ivan) I was paying 2400 a month for terrible service.

I got my ADSL service on the special that they offered in December and.....

1: The "installation" fee of US$50 (fee charged when the service is activated at the exchange) was waived but they still charged $2000+ for the technichian to come and set up the modem at your home(this was not explained to me)

2: They gave me 3 months to pay for the modem (althou on my last phone bill they charged me the full cost of the modem,imagine how frightened I was when I see the phonebill for $20,000+

3: Initially the customer service rep told me that the first 3 months I would pay US$33 ( for the standard package) but you are really gonna get 3 months free at the end of your 1 year contract.

You're not alone. I wanted to install this myself, but I wasn't really given an option to do so. Technician just came and did everything. But I don't blame him. Him want him 2 gran.

But what really hurt me about it is the man tie mi out the entire day he was supposed to come from 10am and never reach till 4:30pm and by 4:35pm im finish and ready to go,, what a way to make 2G's
