Re:What are your favorite Games?
NES -> Super Mario Bros. 3
SNES -> Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Adventures (1997)
Gameboy Color -> Warioland 4
SEGA Genesis -> Sonic 3D
Arcade -> Super Street Fighter 2
N64 -> Zelda 64: The Ocarina of Time
Playstation -> Final Fantasy VIII
Dreamcast -> Soul Calibur
Playstation 2 -> Final Fantasy X
Gameboy Advance -> Chu Chu Rocket
XBOX -> Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
GameCube -> Rouge Squadron 2 (incredible immersion)
PC -> Wing Commander IV (1995)
MAME -> Metal Slug 4
The games listed are the ones that have kept me hooked from the very first day it was played until it was finished (or is still being played). I've played other really good games, but because I'm really difficult to impress, I rank a game entirely based on it's replay value (not its graphics, not its sound, not its originality).
If I had to choose my number one favourite game of all time, It'd have to be the Super Mario Bros franchise. To this very day, right now as I type in this post, I have a SNES 9x Emulator running on my PC with Super Mario Allstars on it and Super Marioworld 2. It's the quintessential time passing game that doesn't hog resources and after 6 years, it's still a damn fun game to play!! I don't care how gorgeous games look today, no single player game is as fun as the Super Mario Bros. franchise was and none will ever be.
A very close second is Final Fantasy VIII. That game blew me away in every category a game can possibly be rated for. I can still remember the spine chilling, jaw dropping awe that besieged me the first time I popped that game in. I spent a whole summer playing that game finishing it several times (I lost count how many times). That game changed everything for me as far as expectation was concerned. I was hooked onto Final Fantasy forever...
A close Third would be Wing Commander IV. To this day, I don't think a better PC game exists. No PC game (not to this day) held my attention like Wing Commander IV. It was so good, that after finishing it for the umpteenth time, I went out and BOUGHT Wing Commander 3 and then Wing Commander Prophecy. Those are the only games I remember buying for the PC that I felt my money was WELL SPENT. In fact, I thought at the time I paid too little for a game that HUGE. I felt the same way at the end of that game like how I felt coming out of The Matrix. I was utterly blown away. I went out and BOUGHT a new PC just to play that game AGAIN...damn, that game was GOOOD...
It's a pity they don't make games like these anymore. :'(

Re:What are your favorite Games?
I see that you are a nintendo fan Skillachi...
super mario Kart.... I drive a mean cart you know.
They tried to make a game similar to it for the PC named... uuuhh.... Revolt. Revolt is based on remote controll cars.
Whacky Wheels is a good cart (like mario kart) game for the PC. No new version has been made for it though.
That would be a good Idea I think.... A mario kart type game for PC with network capabilities for large number multiplayer functionality.
