If its trye I wonder how they will pull it off

rumour squashed by IGN:

We went directly to Sony for comment, and the company has denied the report saying it is completely false.

"This news is unfounded," a Sony spokesperson told IGN. "God of War III will not have an online co-op mode."

So it appears God of War III won't contain any co-op online multiplayer, though, I guess there is still room for a versus mode. Does this make you happy? With this current trend of most new games adding some cooperative elements, this news is rather refreshing.

I dont listen to sony anymore. Well i guess this isnt the usual "no comment" line but I'm sure they've denied things before. Coop in GoW would be pretty strange though

I cant imagine how coop GOWIII will make the game fun... I prefer to do all the bloodletting myself thank you (what can I say, im selfish). And the camera angles will make it wierd... But I guess its a possibility

nuh dat mi a say the fun of God of War is just being the merciless solo killer Kratos is, now imagine 2 ppl fighting a cyclops and you never get to tear the eye out cause the other man press O before you. I don't see why people would even want co-op in God of War, is not really sutm like Dynasty Warriors (which is fun in co-op btw)

I got a code from them yesterday at 3pm after requesting it the night before and I have none of the above (yet). Download is 2.7GBs



sorry for caps and bold but when we post how to get into MAG and BF:BC2 betas half the people here still dont join in, and I bet most here still nah tek notice of this before messaging me on my PS3

I was just thinking about gow 2 and the fact it was on a dvd9 disc I believe. i don't know what ms was planning using dvd this gen case even last gen games were pushing it. GOW3 is going to use up bluray nicely

Gonna try to get in this one as well. I like the betas, well i jus play BC2 so far, shud b in MAG soon, looking forward to it.

been playing the demo, its similar to gow2, i dont see anythin new. i dont think i will be getting gow3 unless they really make advancements to the gameplay and not just a prettier version to gow3

Game looks pretty nice

Wish I have a capture device so I can go nuts with Killzone 2 and UC2 shots. But I'll start with these beautiful GOW3 screens of epic proportion.
