    Only one answer seems logical here, though I'm not sure.

    To check the voltage we would set our multimeter to volts and then check the voltage on the circuit. You would place one probe on the power side of the circuit and the other to the ground side of the circuit.

    Correct Option(s):

    b) Set the meter to volts and check the circuit with power on.

    Incorrect Option(s):

    a) Set the meter to amps and check the circuit with power off. - This is not the correct way to check voltage. This is not the correct way to check amperage either. You would need the power on to check amperage.
    c) Set the meter to ohms and check the circuit with power on. - This is not the correct way to check voltage. This is not the correct way to check ohms either. You would need the power off to check the resistance.
    d) Set the meter to ohms and check the circuit with power off. - This is not the correct way to check voltage. This would be the correct way to check resistance.
