    Let's see, the fastest way is 127 - 116 = 11, so the answer is obviously: c.

    How did you do that? I had to repeatedly subtract the powers <= 116 and it's results...

    Well remember that 127 = 01111111
    So 127 - 116 = 11 = 1101
    Remove 1101 from 01111111, you get 01110010
