BB Messenger 5.0

Over at BlackberryRocks, it is said that Blackberry Messenger 5.0 will be globally released on October 7th. This could be the final push for those not on board with OS 5.0.0.230.

yep just waiting now...but I don;t think u will have to have .238 in fact I think any 5.0 should be compatible. The fact they officially releasing bbm 5 and one of the requirements is OS 5.0, maybe they will be releasing OS 5 officially tooooo

Well for now the 5.0 BB Messenger will only work on a Blackberry running OS 5.0 and up which I suspect equals to the BB OS v5.0.0.238 as that is the most current leaked version that is stable and looks close enough to any official version. Personally I think official BB OS will be released sometime in November when the new BB Bold 9700 hits the stores

BB messenger is a pretty neat application. Like the lay out but i'm having some isssue.after talking someone for a little watever I type in the box no longer comes up.dunno whats up with it..guess it has mior bugs that need to be sorted out

My problem is we type the text its white and the background is light colour also so can't see anything. Can anyone help I got a 8310.

there are alot of glitches with the 5.0 versions but it the interface l;ooks alot better han previous versions

Just wish there was a way I could change the font colour then everything would be good.

i had that problem too..oddly it hasnt happend to me since i updated to OS5
