    anybody get the claro modem to work on any of the linux distros

    Nokia 3120 works EZ on Fedora 11. But, I guess you mean a Huawei modem? USB? With Ubuntu? 9.x? on a 32bit machine?

    Huawei E226 usb modem an Fedora 11 using a 64 bit machine.

    What flow of options did you use in NetworkManager? You chose CDMA etc.? Any errors reported?

    Just saw this thread...I would love to know if anyone gets E226 Hauwei Claro to work,

    [I'm using Mandriva 2010, but what runs well with Ubuntu seems to be fine with Mandriva also]
