    You can hide a shared folder from users browsing the network by adding a "$" at the end of the folder's share name. Users must have the appropriate NTFS and share permissions and know the name of the share to access it.

    Correct Option(s):

    c) Place "$" at the end of the share name.

    Incorrect Option(s):

    a) Place "$" at the beginning of the share name. - This will not hide the shared folder. Only a "$" at the end of the share name will hide a shared folder.
    b) Place "#" at the beginning of the share name. - This will not hide the shared folder. Only a "$" at the end of the share name will hide a shared folder.
    d) Place "#" at the end of the share name. - This will not hide the shared folder. Only a "$" at the end of the share name will hide a shared folder.

    I can't believe I mixed metafile names with those share names! I knew I saw them when accessing my Windows shares from Linux. Still can't fins a way to actually browse them though... What's the login?
