LOL, but seriously still, i am not giving up pc gaming. its just that i'm not going to go all out to play games on pc. one little graphics card a cost more than a 360/ps3. i will still play games on my pc that it can manage.

(and still prefer mouse/keyboard for shooters, glad ps3 has that so i can continue gaming with that)

@ crow, I dont knwo what radkin talking about. this a 9600gt will do dx 9 no AA with medium quality just as the ps3 and it is under $80

For some people, shelling out big bucks to keep your rig able to play games - an activity that earns you no money ('cause non of you are professional gamers), doesn't make economic sense. If gaming is what you want, consoles are a better economic investment.

It depends on your income and your financial situation. US$80 is a lot of money to some, especially when it is to be spent on something that is a depreciating asset, that won't earn you any money. US$80 could buy you 2 or 3 console games. Also it's not just video card you have to upgrade. Sometimes you need to upgrade mobo, ram, etc. That pushes it to more than $80.
