    Default A+ Book Suggestion

    So dudes im gonna be doing the exam in October @ New Horizion not doing the course its too expensive.

    I need to refresh my memory on certain topics.

    Any suggestions

    use the sybex complete or get the mike meyers A+ they both good...have heard about A+ certifiction passport i can`t attest to that.

    didnt new horizons shut down around then....no longer around...they still have the parent company bu its a shell of what it was

    The comptia a+ objectives is going to change in february so be careful of the book u purchase

    Hey Nuclear could you elaborate on that a bit because one of the things I was told is unlike CCNA the A+ does not change or has there been such large technological advances over the past years that after decades they are finally chaning some things?

    The comptia a+ 2006 edition will retire in the in February so, there will be a new edition the 2009 edition: http://www.comptia.org/certification...d/a/a2006.aspx

    Hhhmm so I take it one would have to learn new material and the material learn prior to this will be obsolete?

    its true A+ 2006 and network+ 2005 curriculum will retire shortly....havent looked at A+ yet...but network+ 2009 looks decent....good luck to all...remember google is your friend...n the internet your personal library..
