Obviously the time will vary depending on what you're doing. But just so you know...netbooks use low powered processors and are optimized for long times. 4hrs is weak for a netbook. You're referring to laptops and even 4 hrs is great by laptop standards.

Netbooks these days have given over 9 hrs battery life...Toshiba Mini N250 and many others have well over 7 hrs too. So for them to say 12 hrs I would not highly doubt that.

Netbooks due to their structure/features (and lack thereof) offer more time than standard full powered laptops.

We're still searching for an exact release date, but Anssi Vanjok made clear that the €570 ($810) asking price is apt to be heavily subsidized by carriers across the globe. Still, $810 for a netbook? Ouch.

Which Netbook are you referring to Duster because mine does 5 hours easy and its using the stock battery I planning to get an 8 cell I think it is next.

The Toshiba is solid that's why. The only netbook brands I'd look at are Samsung, Asus and Toshiba.

nokia has always been a brand of mine but what if apple made a netbook.. hmmmmm? iphone+ipod+ibook? sounds like a plan.. but if not, tis would probably suffice. lugging around ma laptop at school all day is too tiresome... anyone wanna trade?
