    Default Delphi 2005

Any one using Borland Delphi 2005?
Also, anyone using the C#Builder in Delphi Studio 2005 to develop .NET apps?

Man..LOL...cant remember why I asked that question in the first place..over a year ago. I prefer coding in something like java.

Delphi is nice though..very powerful for desktop apps. Remember that apps are moving towards being web-based.

    Hi RodyG,

I have never been a part of a local delphi newsgroup before. recently i discovered this forum and to my surprise is was almost empty and not updated regularly. I was really hoping to meet some local Dephian here.

Based on the posts i find here you seem to be an experienced Dephi developer. What is your take on BDS2006, i need a second opinion. I used 1,3 and now 6.

Most of the the third party component vendors have by now released VCLs for 2006 and I was thinking of moving up and want to make the best choice. I have no experience in .NET development as all my projects a W32.

My options are D7 D2005 D2006 (to me D8 is not an option).

    Best Regards
