Warning: back-up your device prior to installing. This is just good basic procedure. The only issues I have seen with installing this is with T- Mobile Pearl users. Some lost use of the Trackball, until it was uninstalled it with Desktop Manager. Others said their totally froze.

UI is optimized for Java phones and not for blackberry, but after getting used to it, it's quite comfortable and quick. Connects to ICQ/MSN/AIM as well as it's own network. GPRS/UMTS traffic consumption is very low. 1 sent Msg uses just ~0,25kb. (Settings -> System Info shows consumed traffic.)
3 important remarks for installation:
- Correct APN for tcp connections has to be entered on blackberry under settings -> advanced settings -> tcp
- App has to be downloaded with the Blackberry Browser (PC download and transfer via usb cable does not work)
- You can type in mobile numbers (. on setup screen) in international format without " " too (" " is not supported by blackberry input form).
Useful hints: - By pressing the red hangup button you can put the app in the background. - Keyboard Shortcuts: 0 ... toggles hide offline/online, # ... sound on/off, * ... lock keyboard

Ha ha...DTGO the reality is that the apps you've posted is a vast improvement over the Blackberry apps of the past in respect to abundance and sheer quality of apps when compared to those of yester year where simple things like MSN messenger didn't even exist if you didn't download third party apps such as IMHERE so who knows Blackberry is evolving and I guess and I am sure it's only a matter of time where apps will be abundant similar to other platforms such as Symbian and Windows Mobile.
