    isnt an usb flash drive practically the same as a external hdd? uses the same voltage from usb header and same transfer rates. so what is your point?

    well u can always give that friend or co-worker or family member u don't trust a dvd, especially if you suspect that they have viruses or something unless u gonna ask them to buy the flashdrive and u load it up an give them
