Yeah Forza is very lame, worst racing game ever made

The only thing I saw lame in that video was the use of the full racing line assist and the horrible racing

A definitely more structure and lighting rich demo that even has detailed shadows inside the cockpit all at 60fps and ~1080p?? Forza, we all know, is just to hold ppl over till gt5 reach.

But when the shoe is reversed and it is clear that damage in GT5 is not as good as damage in Forza, the argument is, who needs damage being modeled as close to sim as possible?

The double standards = LAME.

Give each game their due and stop being quit to belittle the other in the name of console wars.

Damage inferior in GT5?

Yesterday we brought you some new Gran Turismo 5 gameplay footage straight from GamesCom in Cologne, Germany. The game's new damage modelling was on show, though we must admit it looked a tad limited.

There's reason for this. Yamauchi-san explains in an interview with GamesBlog that the GT5 code brought to GamesCom "marks only the first step of what we want to achieve for damage."

It's also interesting to hear that Polyphony might be testing the damage out on gamers, since Yamauchi-san adds "we’re interested to know how far the players want to go."

Its not double standards... its sense. You guys complaining about an unfinished feature, forza pretty much done and printed. I bet you a man cud leak dat right now and sell it in the packaging the game will come in. Even if thats not the case, not much will change. On the other hand we have no idea which development period the gt5 damage model shown came from and I think the makers were just out to get reactions for what ppl wanted.

I have looked for damage in forza and havent been impressed. Maybe i just really dont care :s The world detail and effects on the car + car detail matters though.

We just go wait and see. If i had both consoles i'd go for gt5 but I guess most o u guys only have forza as a choice? few hrs download

I will get a 360 eventually; i am not bitter, I just bring it up cause i realize thats how ppl going to get it when i thought about how people will obtain it.
