Yooooooooooooooo!!!!! That is crazy. Microsoft gonna be richer!
    Can somebody bye bye Wii!
    Resident Evil.....jah know.

It is really a piece of technology that's all I can say.

If this is the technology they show to the public, can you imagine what the CIA and FBI have?

This is a really cool and innovative piece of technology. In its current state, I only see it as just competition for the WII and its casual gamer market. The only problem that I have with it is that it doesn't provide any form of resistance\feedback to simulate realism. From the martial arts to the F1 game, the feelings are all the same. In its current state, the only types of games worth using this technology for are the family ones, like the game they show that was demoed.

Its not going to be more than a gimick for a good deal of time and i can imagine the frustrations ppl will have with it; This was just something to make the MS conference look decent (along with milo). It will have to have a pretty hi def camera to not mix up faces and have many ppl will be a problem.

Anyway, dont let M$ turn u guys into zombies

Cant believe there is such a huge response to something thats been done. Is what M$ puttin in the water?!? And some of those eyetoy demos are real time, not recorded.

I totally forgot that Sony had created something like this. Your right though, M$ brought nothing new to the table. It's just the same tech that Sony has under a different name. I wonder why this never took off for Sony? If this becomes a success for them you gotta give them props for that... I mean, Sony had this from pre-2006 and it hasn't taken off as yet.

I think is the games that can be made to use this kinda thing thats limiting. Sony cud integrate it into the functioning of the ps3, like loggin in and changing menus and that could help. But the detailed games these consoles are made for wouldn't benefit too much from it.

    M$ knows their marketing still.

Well this seems good I must agree with some here about its a good strategy to get into the area of the market that the Wii has under control as for what Semi has been stating if you pay attention to the Eyetoy it seems to be limited to a specific frame or frames and just interjecting objects on the screen to interact with the frame or the user on the other hand Natal seems to have a several frames making it seems that you are actually in a game with full movement and flow instead of just seeming to stand in a portrait like the Eyetoy. Personally I just want my control so I can just lean back in a nice soft velvet chair or settee and just play my games

From the demo from MS e3 conference looks like natal monitors the persons entire body movement. Dunno what eyetoy can do or what the games using natal will do so i will wait and see. Doubt it'd be a cheap addition

Now Sony is trying to revive their motion controller *YAWN*. The M$ one was more impressive to me.
