They posted an ad in the Classifieds stating a starting salary of at least $300 USD per week for skilled workers. Just asked for a resume. They sent me a job offer with an annual salary of $25200 for a Customer Care Agent.....but the catch is that I need to send about $200 USD for application fee for the H1B visa.
I checked the labour laws, that's wrong....plus the company does not exist, they are a knock-off of Computech Corporation.

    Fraud.

No company is to solicit funds from you in order to arrange Visa. The Visa application for your part is done locally to your Embassy or High Commission.

Additionally, the fact that solicitation of the such a fee is done prior to an interview, acceptance or agreement of job, and more so before even knowing your current visa status is purely unethical.

So, even if it is real, I wouldn't recommend anyone touch this by a long shot.

isn't there a duty on the part of the media to catch these prior to print?? i mean not because someone is paying you to print something means you should. Another case in point, a community paper recently when the NHT refunds were being issued, had an ad by someone stating that they could collect the refund by sending to one of the free email services. I mean come on. The moment i saw that i flagged it as a fraud. Couple days later NHT themselves posted an Ad to the effect that they did not publish the afore-mentioned Ad. C'mon media people, ya'll have a responsibility

They dont really care that much, base on what went on. Once a person is handing out a good amount of cash, they gonna quickly take it, and thats that after.
