    Bad sound huh? Obviously the system doesn't know how to control the card properly. And what's the best way to teach the system? Give it an instruction manual!

    An incorrectly installed or corrupt driver could cause the audio output to be choppy and/or of poor quality. Replacing the driver with the manufacturer's recommended driver would be the quickest and easiest way in attempting to fix this problem. If installing the updated driver did not work, you would then move on to more extensive and/or invasive solutions.

    Correct Option(s):

    a) Install the most recent version of the sound card's driver from the manufacturer's web site.
