Mad is all I can say.
isn't it strange that both sf4 and tekken 6 added a fast big belly dude as a new character?

I cannot abide tekken. It come in like the MVC of 3D fighters, button mash and victory is assured.
I remember putting in a combo ( they are pre-programmed into the engine), and PUTTING DOWN the controller. My character continued happily kicking and punching away. I showed my friend and we had an idle 20 mins inputting in combos and leaving the controllers on the ground while our fighters battled. We threw it away and started playing VF.
From that I dont spit on that filthration.

Such is the nature of tekken. Its been like that since roughly 1995. They tried to change the fighting engine in tekken 4 but longtime players hated the change with a passion. It requires alot more memorization and frame counting that other fighting games.
Even so you can't button mash a 10 hit combo or 5 point throw. I find that button mashers are less effective in this game OR maybe I'm better at this game and so it doesn't affect me as much as in SC.

I prefer Virtua Fighter to Tekken. I don't like the "ten-string" business. Tekken 5 was fun, but VF is teh real deal.
Usually 10 string combos are reserved for the people who can actually execute the moves. As far as I can see there is no way to do a 10 string combo in VF since the characters fall to the ground after the first/second hit. VF just doesn't allow you to do them which turns it into a match of block, punch, fall, block, punch, fall, repeat. Its a matter of preference still. Its the same thing I said about soul caliber. I hate that game with a passion.
You can escape the 10 hits string in tekken but not without practice.

Well I have been playing for a while not hardcore or anything and I have even been to the tournaments and such and button smashers get eaten alive by people who know how to play the game personally up until now I have not been able to pull off the 10 combo strings but I have been hit by them on several occasions though, I did hear that VF 4 is very detailed though like for example the black Kick Boxing girl in there she has like 4 difference stance which seems to branch of in like 20 or more different moves for each stance
