Yes hdd is one of the main cause of lag.

Rendering will bring any machine to its knees. The difference is a faster machine will complete the render in less time.

yeah exactly...thus the need to OC to try and compensate

mechanical HDD lags all PCs, even a dual core, the difference with SSD is a thing where u just cant go back to Mechanical HDD for OS

A mi fi tell u....my cuz has 2 SSD's in raid 0 as OS drive n jah know i had goose bumps the 1st time i saw the Read/Write speeds he was getting

I like how a lot of you post OC stats with no proof of Prime95 stress tests. Anyone can OC their CPU's and just happen to be able to boot into the OS, but it's having it stable under load for hours that really counts.

Yup... Ivy does run a bit hot though, not as hot as some have made it seem... heading for a 1Ghz overclock at least, wana get to about 4.6 or 4.7 !!!

Yup, H100,will start overclocking later. Want to see how far I can get it to go without upping the voltage..
