Well it simple give her the money needed for the techn to put in his speaker and get her off ur back.

Anybody being able to install BB App World?. With all the upgrades we seem to be still out in the cold.

I bought a new bold yesterday for my mother. When I got the phone i didn't see some of the apps that generally come with the phone such as Facebook, Messengers: MSN, Yahoo and Google talk.

I know she lives on msn so I was trying to download it yesterday via Wifi cause she doesn't have a sim for it as yet. I wasn't able at all to d/l the messengers from the bb website. I however got couple other apps such as google and bolt.

What could be the problem? I'm know wondering if I got a lemon.

I just tried installing the bb apps world and got this message:

"Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World."

might be its ur reagion that cause that, they dont support this side just yet. remember they know where you at based on ur isp.

It looks like a waste of time because i cant the free apps so any1 find a work around please post

Based on the fact that those application ur trying to download was specificaly made for Blackberry you cant use ur wifi and download them you have to use the blackberry service to get this job done so apply for the service and you should be good.
