Whats the deal on the HP Laptops?

Yesterday my techie friend who fixes laptop told a girl "bwoy dat done my girl - buy a new one." When I checked it out it was a hp laptop that she had. But I know HP and some Acers don't last too long as well. Well when buying a laptop do some research if you can about the brand and model laptop as well before you buy it.

Also, people need to take better care of their laptops.

Very true. As some way how I see people treat their laptops not funny at all. I think they forget that it is very delicate and should be handled with care.

i personally dont won a hp laptop, brought down a couple n sold, but only one as sum issues, the wifi card went dead after a couple of days, did sum readings found out thats it a common issue with the dv series them, also found out the dv9000 series suffer from poor lcd bezel structure as almost all the ones i see non working or damage were the bezel ither crack, open or the screen dead,

the only reason why sum ppl go for them is because them look pretty,

i stick to my toshibas,

motherboard death is so common among them

HP rite now 2 me has di leading cutting edge ova odda laptop MFG and I will not switch moreso I wood rather buy all a Apple and work wid both still.........Performance vs Cost............

Well is a HP me a beat still... no probs thus far... switched from dell a couple yrs ago after my 9300 had a 'vertical line' issue - google it...
Apple a money still but time will tell

I'm yet to have an issue with HP laptops... I've had bad experiences with Dell, & Toshiba...Hence I am never buying those again...IBM, is the way to go for me..dem ugly, but dem very very durable.... My HP is holding up ok so far...its not 1 year yet though, Battery life sucks royally though...
