    Thumbs down

I have to say the $40 per mb was an insult to me, so their wimax service is gonna be really high priced. It would be nice however to have service some places you go in Jamaica without wifi and not have to pay an arm and a leg, but with how the 3 companies are coming together to jackup data costs, it doesnt look feasible for the average masses (which is 70% of Jamaica).
    Only we can save us.

well i'll wait and see, Wimax is not mainly geared towards mobile users, its more like wireless broadband for pc, - just as dsl, but the wireless version, 3g is geared towards mobile thou, they did wel in cayman giving unlimited packages, so they can always do the same here,

Wimax is very expensive to setup from what i see. They use wimax at NCU, very stable and fast with low ping times. But i dont know how it would work for residential use (price wise)

Digicel will HAVE TO subsidize the cost somehow: http://www.google.com/products?q=wimax+devices

Cuz i dont have dem money deh!
