Sounds like a 007 type of job. But if you can afford it, Claro's 3G is a good option.

theres really no sure way of having net access 365. claro mayb expensive compared to lime broadband, i would say buy a ups, bcos if there is a power cut how u gonna use the PC?? or laptop?? if u have a flat panel monitor a $25,000 UPS can run ur system for a few hours, if its a laptop, then a $12,000 UPS can run u for the rest of the day n more.....

so whether u chose lime or claro, u gonna need a UPS at the end of the day!
Back to square one....., back off the ground now........

this is kinda misleading just throwing out figures without reason behind it. When it comes to a UPS you have to consider several things

    1. Specs of each device to be powered (power rating)
    2. Desired uptime for equipment
    3. Amount of equipment to be supported
    4. Brand (Not all ups brand are good)
    MATADOR: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R, C2Q Q9400 @ 3.4GHz, ZALMAN CNPS9500, 6GB GSkill, Crucial C300 SSD 128GB, 2x 2TB WD Caviar Black, Diamond HD5850, 2x Plextor DVD+RW, RAIDMAX Scoprio 668WBP Case, Rosewill Xtreme Series RX850-D-B 850W, Dell E228FP WideScreen 22", Logitech Z-2300, Windows 7 Pro x64

    hmmmmmm..... true!

i had made a few checks the other day, n a 12K UPS they said could give me 1hr on a flat panel monitor with normal PC usage..... so i figured if its just for downloading those prices should be ok.

like u said though, he`d have to check these things for himself....

If you want dialup at no extra cost your LIME dsl Username and password will work for their dialup as long as your dsl modem is not logged in.Mine works when my adsl goes down.

Y'all keep talking about power cut, what about situations like hurricane aftermath? She did say 365 days connectivity.
