shareaza is good but it really slow (it gets files from bit torrent,kazaa, gnutella etc.. also try www.filesearching.com)

how comes nobody said anythin about news groups, newsgroups normally get stuff before IRC, thats where i got my stuff weeks before it was released. I like the fact that IRC is not user friendly so it can keep certain kazaa user out(those who like to change filenames). User friendliness is for amateurs.

The network of newsgroups are called Usenet.

For Windows, there's Shareaza , which is F/OSS, no ads, and connects tom eDonkey, Gnutella 1 and 2, and handles bittorrennts! It's great, especially for programs.

I have no idea how that slipped me and I'm always talking alt.binaries. :-\ Now I rem why certain files always comes in pieces.
Shareaza slow noh backside. Ah Bit Torrent, Overnet, IRC and another that I can't rem right now a carry di swing.

bit torrent sites are either going down like rain drops or are going members only.
problem ith torrent is you have to be part of the early swarm. when looking for something not on the list or a bit dated, like 2weeks older or so, then forget it.
emule is more reliable for the older stuff, as well as the other p2p stuff you got out there.
