Has the Iphone (original) resolved the issue of sending/receiving files via bluetooth?

or beg apple to make an update for that
I think the bluetooth on the iPhone was only made for headset support.
When has that issue came about?.. From day one, iPhone couldn't do that..
I think there was a way to do it tho, of course via jailbreaking that is.. Has to do with using a different file system of ur own or something along that line..
Search the net is a good start - Dont ask me.

don't look for a fix coming from iphone anytime soon... main reason everyone suspects it doesn't do it is because apple doesn't want people sending videos/music/files to others ... "for free"
Does some form of File converting happens when you sending a song from Itunes to your Iphone,or is the actual mp3 that is stored. Cause if some converting does take place, then the file wouldn't be compatible with other music-players on other phones......if sent by Blue-tooth......???

The guys over at iBluetoothProject.com (makers of bluesn0w, which we saw earlier) have released their GUI tool, called sweetTooth. For now it does the same thing as the previous command line version - just looks a bit prettier. Essentially it can find Bluetooth devices in your area that are marked as discoverable, and print their address.
Obviously the next step (and why this is cool) would be to get full Bluetooth access going with the iPhone - stereo headphones, file exchange, etc. No word on when/if that could happen, although the iBluetooth folks say they're working on it
