Well, it depends on which diploma. Which one are you talking about? You were specific with the certification by including keywords Comptia A+, please do so with the diploma (eg. Utech, NCU, Infoserv, VTDI, etc). Just tell us what you are interested in and the type of job that you intend to get.

For entry-level pc mechanics job i would go for the A+ certification.

I concur. If you already have your diploma before persuing a degree in the relevant field, you might have the benefit of being exempted from certain courses in the degree programme.

I completely agree not to mention the Diploma is a basic requirement when looking an IT based job in Jamaica at least for large reputable companies.

Diploma..................cause it is a step down from a degree (whether associate or bachelors) plus yuh can use the diploma get a job.
