    Default Sp3 Internet Problem

Has anyone using a dial up connection phone line or gprs and using sp3, notice that after the connection is connected it takes around 30 seconds for it to become active and start transferring data.Does anyone know if there is a windows update to fix this?

    Why?

Hey brinnob, did using a next browser solve the problem?
Knowledge is of two kinds. We know a subject ourselves, or we know where we can find information on it.!!!

I am using Firefox .C&W has been giving me the run around for years, saying no ports available.Sp3 is the problem since both browsers and internet applications have the delay in connecting. Also this happens on more than one system.
