    Default No internet connection

The other computers on the network are connecting to the internet but this one machine is giving trouble. When i run the diagnostic test it says:
warn: The default gateway cannot be resolved via ARP.

I'm thinking about checking to see if some recent updates (if present) maybe causing this error. What do you think?

Go to the command prompt and type IPCONFIG - do so on the problem PC and on the PC that is not working. Check to see if the DEFAULT GATEWAY is the same. If it is - then try to PING the gateway. If you can't check your firewall settings.

If you do the IPCONFIG and the GATEWAY is different, then what BRUTOS is saying is so - you may be connected to the wrong domain/network or something. Post your results.
We never know too much that we can't learn. Unfortunately most Jamaicans are about "hurry come up" and swatting than actually learning....

Well when i ran the internet connection test using IExplorer it did point some ARP error. On networks sometimes a power surge or cable failure among other things may disturb the transmitting of packets to and fro. When they get mixed up or there is a collision then usually resetting the switch refreshes the whole transmitting protocol of the packets thus my problem was solved.

That's just my analysis hope it helps.

Sometimes not connecting to the internet have something to do with Virus...

Several computers affected by virus are the ones that cannot gain access to the internet. The icon maybe there on the taskbar...but page cannot be found...

Other reason are....onboard network card is defective and also your ISP need to Flush your IP as in clear it....and you are back on.

or u may just have to flush your ip address yourself and not wait on an isp to do it by typing ipconfig/release and then ipconfig/renew
