    Senior Computer Programmer Analyst

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to be commissioned as an Officer and appointed as a Senior Computer Programmer Analyst in the Regular Force.

    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    * Possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
    * Knowledge of AS/400 Utilities, CL and RPG ILE

    * Experience in Project Management, Human Relations, Communications and Leadership

    * Have a minimum of three years experience in programming



    * Industry certifications in application development an asset

    Network and Computer System Administrator

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to be commissioned as an Officer and appointed as Network and Computer System Administrator in the Regular Force.

    Applicants must meet the following criteria:

    * Possess a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
    * Possess a Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent certification
    * Show proof of having implemented network systems and ability to adopt and incorporate developing technologies
    * Minimum of four years practical experience as a systems operator / technician
    * Experience in server management, intrusion prevention and detection, and network maintenance



    o Knowledge of the I-Series environment is an asset

    The network admin would be a officer as well or civilian worker

    talk about the money.

    how much them a pay ?. that is what counts most. we will all go in the interview and say how we love the job, it streamlines with our career objectives etc. but we all are there for the money.

    any info on that ?

    more than likely it would be a civilian worker. Using an officer for this would probably not be good when they are short of resources

    While it would not be feasible for most persons, the ad does say that the person needs to be commissioned as an officer first.

    Yes you would have to be an officer, why ask the person who made the post about the pay?... If u worrying about money JDF is one place you dont have to worry about because they take good care of their peps from low end right up to the top.

    The JDF peps take care of thier people for real especially if you are an officer even more so as a specialist, you should be well taken care of. Not to mention benefits and discounts and special packages at car marts etc.

    The person would acquire the rank of an Officer I think I know of this course its not as simple as it seems you would be sent to educated as an Officer you would become apart of the Army and I think if you fail the Officers Course well then don't even think of the position there. I was planning on checking out this course but it seems that the ante has been raised and you need Bachelors or higher to get in now

    Back around maybe 1998 or so an Officer pay was around 60g up and that does not include their benefits only god knows what it is now

    Not needs "to be a commissioned officer" the person "will be commissioned to an officer"
