Okay it's fast but seems to handle flash video's worst than ff3. Was back to the old foxy in a matter of minutes.
So I Heard You Liek Mudkipz?
Well.. i installed to see how it would handle face book......as far as i see still loads slow... especially pics. I like the neat clean look though...
Heroes to Mentors -
ok, my take on it
HOT:::
1: the browser is HELLA FAST. it renders the WHOLE web page and not section by section
2: the tab bar is one word.................WOW. its like the tabs have a mind or their own
3: i love the most visited page as it shows u a pic of the sites u like to visit
4: did i say it fast like concord plane
NOT:::
1: doesnt have plugins for a few sites (www.oanda.com namely)
2: doesnt auto login to webpages that i have stored in firefox. eg: firefox saved
3: passwords to alot of my sites, i was expecting Chrome to log in to them wen it imports the pages from Firefox. instead, i have to re login to all the pages that i already saved the passwords for in firefox (Booooo)
4: adobe flash player not installed from the get-go(its a new browser, so i guess thats expected)
All in all however, i like it and will use it very soon. once dem work out the finer details

It has no windows 2000 version
But OMFG! OMFG! OMFG! OMFG! it hot like fire.
The simplicity of it is astonishing. No Plugins, no settings, no toolbars, no need for a searchbox, dynamic status bar (hover over a link and it appears), nice searchable history page (its almost like a webpage as opposed to app controls).
Its like if gmail was a browser. The fonts isn't at good looking as safari ( can't figure out whether the engine is khtml or mozilla ) but if it is stable I may switch to it.
Chrome + google may take over the world. Google has the internet by the round things.
I'd have to test it on my 1.6 256 win2000 machine at home to see how it works but so far my tests it seems to be flying on all cylinders.
javascript is faster than ever before. maybe 15 times faster

I'm glad someone started this thread. I was looking at the option to download it last night. After reading all the opinions I'll wait a bit.
well...
so far it dont look too bad....
nice feel with the interface...
seems to be rather responsive, pages do seem to load faster than FF+IE.
i havent used opera in a long time, jus not for me i guess...
i only ran into one problem, it cant run java applets?...
also, how do u adjust the page scroll speed?
it jumpin by more than 3 lines... and none o my other browsers do that or programs for that matter...
edit: got a general exception from java in ie wen i tried closin the browser after that. probly something with IE8. No problems with FF3.
Everything can be learnt, simply by not speaking...
