Default Accessing Gmail on Nokia 6080

So I have a Nokia 6080 on the bMobile network with GPRS activated. However, I'm unable to access my gmail account using the Gmail application, going directly to the url or setting up the e-mail feature on the phone.

I have no idea why I can access my cwjamaica e-mail account but not my gmail. Any suggestions?!?!?

erbag. I am gonna give you the settings that I use on my Windows Mobile Phone which should be similar I assume to what you would use on your Nokia 6080 Series phone.

    Here goes.

    email address: barrrettrs@gmail.com

    Your name: Ricardo St.Patrick Barrett

    Account Display:
    GMAIL

    Incoming server: pop.gmail.com

    Username: recent:barrettrs@gmail.com

    Password: *******

    Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server:
    smtp.gmail.com
    * Select outgoing server requires authentication
    * Select use the name and password for sending emails

    Automatic Send/Receive:
Every 30 Mins plus download emails for the past 30 days

    Message Format:
Plain Text or HTML based on your needs

    Message size:
    Based on User

I know that accessing Gmail would be different because they are two different PLATFORMS as one is Windows based and the other Symbian but I know some similarities must exist to accessing your emails.

Simply what I am saying Pick out what applies to your needs and remember recent:youremailaddress@gmail must be placed in order to access your account.

    Let me know the outcome.
