    Default Atlantica Online - MMO-TBS

MMO-TBS(Turn Based Strategy) - I havent played a turn based game in years (since Gameboy was the thing to have)

i came across this game the graphics is what really caught my eye because from past experience i considered turn based games slow and boring (truthfully almost all the games i'm seeing now are kinda on the boring side) so i decided to try this one its in beta so you would have to get a key to log the client is is kinda big(2gb).
if your a member of any of these sites a key should be available to you without any trouble.

game actually good better than i was expecting, even tho its turn based action goes through pretty face since you only get like 15sec to make use of you action points
The graphics requirement sucking mi comp dry - right now its on 2 of 5 would definitely need a decent comp to run this in max settings.

some nice features is a auto run to a location which will carry you to the point where quest mobs are or to npc's (comes in very useful as the map is so huge you could run for a hour and still dont run out the entire map, the map is a map of earth with all its continents betta a just drop a SS of that*below*) you can craft you potion, gears, food and weapons, and there is a help button that when clicked you type in your question and admin, GM or someone one else (i think higher lvl ppl's can register for these because after you get your response/answer you clcik a button that rewards the ppl with something- dont know what yet). Also a mentor feature is there.. havent received any data on that yet

sometime when your char attacks it goes in "Cinematic Mode" but cant always watch that cause while that running so is the time u get to use up your actions so i turned off mine i ended loosing quite a bit of my "attack turns" because i allowed it to run at first
i currently have 4 Mercs(mercenaries) you only see these when your fighting when your out normally only your main is visible. You train and gear and pot hem up just as you would your main char tho. .

map - tab at the right shows the towns in each continent

i must say this game changed my mind about how boring turn based strategy games can be.
Been playing for some time now and still cant gather all that i need to know, Dev's put so much in the game seem i cant get bored other than lvling up your merc and their skills the higher you get the more mercs you get to use and using more mercs doesnt necesarily mean you will be stronger than a man that have one or 2 less mercs.
Game as a market which is different from the auction house so its like it doesnt matter how many stuff you wanna sell you have the means to do so and yesterday i learned that there is a "tournament" like system which is help twice or so per day, that you can watch the high lvls fight by going to different NPC that are located all over the world. They compete in round by round matches(winner gets to continue to the next lvl of matches) and you can actually bet ingame money on who you expect to win the tournament or rounds with the ppl past matches or lack there of affecting the "odds" of your winnings so a new ppl could come in and because he doesnt have a record the odds are greatly against him, so betting money could yield massive earnings if he actually wins.
Then you have your town that you can capture and basically build up and look citizens(wondering NPC's that you have to convince to move to your town - at the cost of your "Will" similar to stamina in some other games) for your town which over time will leave if you dont keep up the satisfaction of your city.
Now they are instituting a "Nation" aspect to the game that i hear will have nation wars later on.

I'm lvl 36 now with my 6th mercenary (which u are able to hire at lvl30)

loving the gears you get - each class fighter have their own set of gears and weapons personally i love my big gun for my main char but you can go with spear fighter or a giant axe wielding fighter or any of the other 15 to 16 (yes i think their is 18 or 19 classes of fighter/healers to choose from) other class of fighter which change appearance slightly the higher they get in their class proficiency

i dont think its hard cause ppl are already at lvl100(party gaming is essential i think for lvling up faster) which i think is the cap right now.
Whenever you get to the required lvl to hire a new merc you have to train that merc from lvl one until it catches up with the rest of your mercs. i got to lvl 30 saturday or sunday hired my 6th merc about monday and now its lvl 33 with my other merc at 37 and all i had to do was to use it more in the fights and try to leave the killing blow for it as most of the XP u get from a mob is reserved for the char that actually kills the mob.

    Got me some new gear

    and a new Big Gun
